Tuna Bagels

We are going to prepare a delicious and novel sandwich with Van O'tonno tuna and the traditional Bagels; those rich wheat flour breads.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 can of Van O’tonno Tuna
  • 4 large bagels or rounded wheat buns 
  • 1 Sliced ripe tomato 
  • 4 leaves of lettuce 
  • 1/2 Red onion (optional) 
  • 200 gr Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 6 tbsp fresh chives or dill 
  • 1/2 Lemon, salt and pepper to taste

PREPARATION

Chop the chives very well and set them aside in a bowl, add the copes and plenty of cream cheese and mix.

 Cut the bagels open and spread both sides with our mixture, then chop the tomato and onion into slices.

Add lettuce, tomato, onion and our Van O'Tonno tuna to the bagels, squeeze half a lemon on to the tuna, add salt and pepper to taste and garnish with chives, before covering with the other lid of the bagel.
